Description
Common Milkweed Seeds
Nurture a thriving pollinator haven right at home with sustainably grown Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca). Hand-harvested from plants we grow with care, these seeds support monarch butterflies, native bees, and other vital pollinators. Milkweed is not only essential for the monarch lifecycle, but it also brings beauty to the garden with fragrant pink blooms and hardy, upright growth. By planting these seeds, you’re helping restore native habitat and fostering biodiversity.
Planting Guide
Milkweed seeds require cold stratification to germinate—store in moist sand or paper towel in the refrigerator for 30 days before planting, or direct sow outdoors in late fall for natural winter stratification. Plant in full sun, 1/4″ deep, in well-drained soil. Water lightly until established. Once growing, milkweed is low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, and will return year after year.
